Little Panda Tube is built by parents, for parents. We take your family's privacy
seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Who we are
Little Panda Tube ("we", "our", "the platform") is operated by Webdazy
(webdazy.com), based in India.
We provide a safe YouTube video curation platform for children.
2. What data we collect
From parents / subscribers
- Name and email address — used to create your account and send login codes.
- Mobile number — optional, used for account communications.
- Country — optional, used for localisation.
- Payment records — we do not store card details. Payments are processed externally.
From child profiles
- Nickname and avatar — chosen by the parent. No real names or photos required.
- Watch history — which videos were watched and for how long. Visible only to the parent.
- Time usage data — daily screen time, to enforce parent-set limits.
🔒 Important: We never ask children for any personal information.
Child profiles contain only what the parent enters — a nickname and an avatar.
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate your account via OTP (one-time password) login.
- To deliver the service — managing video libraries and screen-time controls.
- To send subscription-related emails (renewal reminders, receipts).
- To provide watch history reports to the parent account only.
- To improve the platform (aggregated, anonymous usage analytics only).
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your data for profiling.
4. YouTube and embedded videos
Videos are embedded using youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
This means Google/YouTube does not set tracking cookies unless the user explicitly plays a video.
We cache video metadata (title, thumbnail, duration) in our own database to minimise API calls.
We do not store video content — all video delivery is handled by YouTube.
5. Data storage and security
- All data is stored on servers in India.
- Passwords are not stored — we use OTP-only login.
- All communication between your browser and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- API keys and sensitive configuration values are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- We perform regular database backups.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account,
all associated data — including child profiles, video libraries, and watch history —
is permanently deleted within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction — update any inaccurate information via your account settings.
- Deletion — delete your account and all data at any time.
- Export — download your video library and profile data using the built-in Export feature.
8. Children's privacy
Little Panda Tube is a tool for parents. Children do not register accounts — they access
the platform through a parent-created profile. We do not knowingly collect personal information
directly from children. Child profiles contain only a nickname and avatar selected by the parent.
9. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is HttpOnly (not accessible
to JavaScript) and is cleared when you sign out. We do not use advertising cookies or
third-party tracking cookies.
